John Spengler has been playing guitar and singing for over five decades. He was heavily influenced by Neil Young, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and Dan Fogelberg, among others. In the 80s, he fronted the popular local band Lip Service. After a thirty year career as a high school science teacher, John has returned to music full time as a singer/songwriter. With two CD/EPs (Workin’ On It and What Would You Change), and a third album due out in December (You Can’t Beat Fun!), he and his band delivers a fun mix of originals and covers.
