About Us

Welcome to Mash Mechanix Brewing, a dream come true for Ryan and Leif, two friends since elementary school and car freaks in high school. Their passion for beer and love for brewing started as a hobby and quickly turned into a lifelong dream. After visiting numerous breweries and analyzing what they liked and didn't like, they finally got the chance to live their dream when they were gifted a brew day with Doug from Ballast Point Brewery in San Diego in June of 2017.

Ryan and Leif never gave up on their dream, even when faced with the challenge of finding a building to call home. It was by chance that Leif spotted the building that is now Mash Mechanix Brewing on Pikes Peak Ave in 2019. Leif and Ryan brought in Kevin, a contractor and business partner, to help with the renovation of the building. They had help from their families and friends, they transformed the 110-year-old building into the brewery it is today.

At Mash Mechanix Brewing, we believe in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where friends and families can gather to enjoy delicious beer and great company. Our brewery is a reflection of our passion and dedication to the craft of brewing and we are proud to share our unique beers with you. From the building's transformation to the names written on a brown bag that once covered strawberries, Mash Mechanix Brewing is a true labor of love.

Leif, a retired teacher, still continues to share his passion for education in his own unique way. He enjoys teaching people about the brewing process and sharing his knowledge and expertise with others. Come visit us today and taste the difference while learning about the magic of brewing!
